Sant'Orsola is situated close to many of Umbria's stunning historic centres and easily accessed off the main autostradas of the A1 and E45. Perugia (20 minutes), the famous pottery centre Deruta (10 minutes) Assisi (25 minutes) Todi (10 minutes) and Orvieto (40 minutes). Specially tailored sightseeing or shopping trips can be arranged.

The internationally famous Umbrian Jazz Festival takes place in Perugia and other surrounding towns throughout July; these venues are a short drive from Sant Orsola.
 

Sailing and wind surfing can be found at nearby Spectacular Lake Trasimeno, which also has sandy beaches safe and ideal for young children.

We can also organise Golf Breaks in April, May, October and November. Italy is an unexpected golfer's paradise with stunning challenging yet uncrowded courses all within a short drive of Sant Orsola. Golf in Italy is a fast growing sport and we can organise groups of eight or twelve (golfers and non-playing partners!) in March, April, May, Sept and Oct). Play at Lamborghini (9 holes) Antognolla (PGA Trent Jones designed with 27 holes) or Perugia (9 holes). Two new courses are under construction in the area.
 

There are many good cantinas nearby (Marsciano, Torgiano, Todi and Montefalco) for tasting and buying Umbrian grown wines.

There are excellent restaurants within a short and easy drive offering traditional Umbrian fare at exceptionally reasonable prices.
